Not me.
Instead, I have my customized alarm that ensures I wake up way before I actually need to. Features include turning on and off the lights, opening and closing drawers loudly, and slamming the door. Unfortunately for all of you, it's one of a kind, but I wouldn't call it irreplaceable. The product featured? My roommate.
Now, during the week, I perfectly understand that people have difference schedules, meaning different wake up times. I thought it would be nice to use my cell phone as an alarm, so the music from my ipod alarm clock wouldn't wake her. Success. Every morning I wake up every morning before her to go to one of my 8:10 am class, and she doesn't have a clue until she wakes up.
Maybe I'm just being a bit old fashioned, but, I expect the same courtesy. Especially during the golden days, aka the weekend. The one time a college student can truly sleep until their heart desires. Not in my case.
Instead, the past few weekends have included waking up to a louder than necessary alarm, as well as banging from whatever she is doing in the room. I don't expect complete quietness, it's a dorm. But starting at 8:00 am, it is something I would appreciate. Especially if it didn't continue for two hours. Fun.
